The Coin used at the last Super Bowl ( Super Bowl XL ) was an MS66 1940-S ( S for Super 
) Walking Liberty Half Dollar. That Coin has now been slabbed, along with the autograph of the games MVP - Hines Ward, and will be the centerpiece at the pre-game festivities at the next Super Bowl. A charity auction featuring the Coin will benefit the Special Olympics Pass, Punt & Kick Program.
Pre-sale estimates value the Coin at $2.4 Million.
