  • Your'e not going to believe this, but I found another Jefferson Nickel with the same date.
Only it is a 1947, no mint mark.
Looks to be in "fine" condition per photograde.
Intersting what turns up now and then.
Have a safe and happy New Year!
  • I have found these in the last two weeks...Ken

  • You can find older than that in circulation on a fairly regular basis. Not too long ago I found a 1938S Jefferson in a roll of nickels, and this week I opened a roll of cents and found a worn 1893 IHC! image

I found a 1939 Jefferson in EF-AU with full steps and nice luster and a 1958 Jefferson in F with dirty appearance...
Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!

  • I'll admit you have to do some looking, but that's the fun of it. They are out there. It could have been a "seed" coin. image
  • I find 40s, 50s on irregular basis - - sometimes several in a roll. I am searching however - sometimes 30s. I try to get a few rolls each week. (jefferson's that is). Once found a buffalo in there. KEWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL image
  • Found a 1948P jefferson in change - would grade fine except for the big X that someone scratched across Thomas' face... image

I'm cheating---I got this little gem about 3 weeks ago. Great toning, but it looks like someone tried to clean this at one time.
