First and Last Years for this Classic Commems Series

So here are 2 new purchases that I just added to one of my favorite designed Classic Commems, the Oregon Trail Memorial. From the first year 1926, with a mintage of nearly 48,000, to the last year 1939, with only 3,004 coins minted, IMO, one of the most popular from the classic era. The wonderfully rendered Native American, Is truly American. Anyone like this design as much as I do? Zack.

Yes, enough so that I went outside my CAC Rattler set to grab this beauty recently. A nice "Fatty" holder though.

Commems and Early Type
I needed an early commemorative for my Type set, this is what I chose

Yes, one of only a handful of commems that I own. My favorite. I collect the stamps as companions as well.
One that I should have kept

I agree with everyone, this design is truly amazing, And it toned so beautifully. It's hard for me to find an Oregon Trail that I do not like. The 37-D seems to come especially nice with 81 in PCGS MS68. And so here is my MS68 example

Nice pair!! One of my favorites too. This Classic Comm Half was the second one I added to my collection. A Columbian Expo Half was the first.
So I guess I’m not the only one who likes this issue right? Thanks to all who also posted their coins. Whether blast white or beautifully toned, we can all enjoy them and admire their artistry.

Cool
I bought this one for type raw many years ago. It is mark free, but the luster is subdued. Hence PCGS called it MS-64.
