    Hey Cat,

You should keep your paws off your nice coins, it can damage them over time.
Thanks for trimming your claws before the photo.

I think the toning is mint made. Should I send it in for grading? It’s unusual eye appeal could be worth thousands to the right buyer, yes?

Note to @abcde12345 my coin doesn’t have that S next to the three. So I think you’re wrong about my thinking.

That one is so nice it should not be in a change bowl.

It belongs in a parking lot...or on eBay priced at several hundred dollars.

Is that a pillar stone of some sort? 😊
Not bad for an environmentally damaged radome Jefferson nickel👌

Harumph. Methinks you don't appreciate my rarity.

    Do not despair Catbert.

I am most assuredly assure, yet I don't see how others don't share my appreciation for my nickel, especially Mr. Weinberry, who doesn't appear to be a random poster.....

What you have is a extremely rare mint colorized nickel. With the right marketing you should be able to get several hundreds of dollars on ebay

As Airplanenut suggested, you want this graded quickly. I recommend the walk through option; maybe they have an observation window (armored glass of course) so you can see the shock and awe on the faces of the graders as they first lay eyes on this rarity. Some of them may actually convulse.

Be sure to tell them its a 1998, might get graded quicker. A treasure for sure.
