The Feng Shui of a Safe Deposit Box...
If we’re going to spend all this money on coins, might as well do everything in our power to enjoy them as much as possible. Here’s my attempt. One 10x10 SDB, one box of 36, four boxes of 18, and 3 blue boxes of raw coins.

Attractive, plush carpeting is highly recommended!

Should react well with the case cover, etc.

It's bad Feng Shui to have coins sitting disheveled outside of the safe deposit box. I can take care of them for you if you send them my way.
Already found a place for those, but I can send you some other things shortly!

Having to keep collectibles in a safe deposit box is a negative in itself. Maybe the pocket change collectors have it right?
Having to lock your house is a negative in itself. Maybe people who live on the street have it right?
I need to organize mine, it’s a mess.
Did you use a compass inside the vault to see which direction the sdb door opens towards? just sayin. Peace Roy

Anyone else trying to make out every coin in the pic? The 1825 NR CAR 2R is so cool.
Glad to have one of the clutter on the left coming my way!

Nice looking stuff, Andy!
Guessing you also have insurance ... in which case I don’t think it matters where you keep them. But that may vary from policy to policy.
I had feng shui once, but a little salve took care of it!
Or was it Fenn Schwing?
I don't see any running water. Did you bring a bottle of beer or something?
U.S. Type Set
Andy is classy, and I’m sure at the least he had sitting water for his time spent with his coins, if not a more refined beverage of some kind. There would be no need for water specific to running when he is in no hurry.
Love the Abafil cases and trays!

I usually bring a small flask of cognac to the bank when it's play time. They have no idea what goes on in the booth, of course, but they still look at me kind of funny when I show up in a smoking jacket and slippers.

All were custom made to SDB friendly specs at my request. But I'm sure they would be more than happy to do the same for you!

Nice! The Abafil cases and trays are already expensive enough ... I don't even want to guess what a custom order would run!

Hmmm... I'm going to have to ask my doctor if Abafil is right for me
Nice metal box.

I will not show pictures of my cardboard boxes....I could show the wood cabinets with green, felt lined drawers (some are red)....Or the big safe.... the concealed tamper devices and UV powder bombs are not obvious...but very effective. Not to mention the extremely bright and disorienting flashing lights, with an earsplitting alarm...
A bit complex, but allows me to enjoy my coins at home.
Cheers, RickO
