Supply and demand. If a book is scare (out of print, or produced in a small run), the cost can be high. I regularly buy numismatic books from Charles Davis, and have not found his prices to be out of line.

@Sonorandesertrat I absolutely don’t think his prices are out of line. I just had no idea it was that scarce. I guess it makes sense.
@Yorkshireman I don’t know. I didn’t even think about trying to get ahold of Mike Dunigan directly. But thanks for the idea.
I got one directly from Mr. Dunigan a couple of months ago without no trouble.
Two were recently on eBay for $180 each
