Anyone here live in the UK?

Are the old £ coins still redeemable? I've heard conflicting information.

    Thanks.

My daughter in law has a bank account in Durham. I have access to about 100 of the coins.

I moved back about two years ago. I do not believe that they are accepted.

Even pre-decimal coins like pennies, threenubs etc are technically redeemable - but not very practical to redeem them anymore due to their low value even in quantities. I have about £100 in predecimal from farthings to crowns, but they are worth more as scrap metal than face value.
