generally no because I usually have my eye on a few coins for my collection and if I purchase something that I don't really need it decreases funds for coins I do need.

I did on a regular basis. Not so much anymore. Im sticking to early commemorative halves for my 50 piece set exclusively now.

Twice, and have not done so in a long time. Once picked up an add'l coin to avoid having to pay sales tax on the primary purchase. Wound up losing more on the add'l coin than I saved in sales tax.

Second time was similar, except it was a wash. One coin upgraded, which wound up offsetting the loss on the filler coins.

    Now, if I don't want / need a specific coin, I don't buy it.
