**_The case of the wooden nickels.

What a cool episode and the ending seems to have a moral character watch the way the Rich guy handles the coins._**

The Perry Mason episode "The Case of the Wooden Nickels" is a pretty interesting 1964 televsion program from the numismatic standpoint.

The plot involves substituting replicas for original rare coins, the selling of a Confederate Half Dollar, and eccentric coin collectors.

I really like the Perry Mason shows...the older the better. The reruns are cut to fit time slots on current network TV. Back in the 50s, an hour long show like this one ran 51 minutes or so plus commercials. Today, an hour long show is around 40-41 minutes plus commercials. One can find the full length episodes on DVD or CBS all access.

Gotta love those old cars, scenes from 50s Los Angeles, etc.....

    No!

Well look on Me TV and you may find it or go online and find it. It's a really good one a lot of numismatics in the episode.

I just looked but could not find it for free. I'll definitely watch it should I find it.
