Proof isn't a condition, it is the method of manufacture.
A typical 1962 proof cent is not worth much, maybe a few dollars. Nice ones which show strong contrast between smooth reflective fields and frosted devices(this is called cameo) are worth more.
Unless it is an exceptional coin... probably not any significant premium... Perhaps you could show some really good pictures and we could help further... Cheers, RickO
