RickO, after last year's trip I think I could retire in the area around Albany, maybe 30 miles to the west. you probably know how fortunate you are in your locale, one hour in any direction gives you History, unmatched beauty and a Metropolitan area that is, well, New York-New York!!! in all my travels around the Country and the World I think it's the one place that has "called" to me. my only regret is that our trip was so short.
