    Slight mechanical doubling combined with an old die.

    Value = 1-cent. Good for paying sales tax or maybe leveling the table at McDonalds.

    Not. It's strike doubling = mechanical doubling.

    Notice how it's flat and shelf-like. That's your key to determining if it's mechanical doubling. Mechanical Doubling is common so you'll see lots and lots and lots of these before you find a true doubled die. Spend some time studying the characteristics, then study them some more..
