This showed up in my tracked lots from the NYINC sale. I couldn't help but notice the similar hairstyles on coins two thousand years apart. I also really like anepigraphic designs.
Electrum is a combination of gold and silver, the other is palladium and hydrogen. Sadly, I didn't win either one

One on the right.
I was watching that Hydrogenium piece. What the heck is it anyway?
They are both lovely coins!
Isn't that just Queen Victoria? Is that an experimental piece of some kind?
Both are awesome!
My YouTube Channel
From Google: Medal of "Palladium Hydrogenium" struck by and presented to Sir J.F.W. Herschel by Thomas Graham in 1869. Label beneath medal inside case states it contains 147 u or 900 volumes of Hydrogen; 19mm diameter, in leather case 4x4x1.5cm. obverse, inscription Palladium. Hydrogenium. 1869. Graham. ; reverse, head of Queen Victoria, profile to left.
Both nice coins/tokens, but I am stunned by the stylishness (by today's standards, anyway) of the ancient hair style. Amazing. Who knew they had curling irons and conditioner back then,
The hairstyles look different, but good.
Here's an older version of the first style.
