Decent looking find in circulation roll, i put it in a holder for now. Is it worth grading?

Is that a rim gouge (damage) between the T & Y of LIBERY?

I wouldn't have it graded since it looks AU.

These 1982 No FG coins are uncommon but not unusual meaning, there is very little premium associated with them as MS Examples are readily available. As such, an AU coin might not even be worth the grading fee's.

    But that's just my opinion.

Now, the 1972-D No FG? That one easily recaptures the grading fee's and then some.

Edited to add: I forgot to mention, Congrats on the find and recognizing it!

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    That's a fun roll find.
I remember being offered rolls of these back in the day. I had kinda forgotten about them.

I kind of figured it wasnt worth enough to grade. But worth keeping. Thanks.

Kennedy collectors need these variety's to complete a Kennedy set just for giggles, consider it a 'hole filler' until something better comes along. (a $12-$15 coin)

just be sure no trace of the initials remains, not even a ghost shadow and PCGS or NGC would encapsulate it. as Lee mentioned, it looks AU on the obverse but these can be hard to grade since they usually look worn. that's because the dies have been polished to remove all the remnants of the dies clashing.

I have two of them, one raw that I haven't submitted yet and one NGC MS66 with pleasant tone. whenever I show it to someone they always say "That's way overgraded" and I smile. :) I tend to think they are more scarce than Lee's estimate of "readily available" would indicate. I just think that everyone who finds them tries to sell them. when you look for yourself they can be elusive.

    JMHO, of course.

Is there a slight die rotation as well?
