These photos remind me of ones seen several years ago here.

Interesting that all the images from that article are hosted on Pinterest.

Does anyone remember when Biddles Bank was a member here? Man did he ruffle some feathers before getting banned.

I don't care how old the thread, imagine
How much better they are getting after perfecting it it for another 8 or 10 years. Makes me stick.

Not only coins but iPhones, hand bags. Watches, software, you name it, they're stealing all our intellectual property and technology and getting away with it for the most part., screw North Korea we have to deal with China before we worry about rocketboy sending his bottle rockets into the ocean while China is siphoning billions out of our economy.

Ok rant over. But I'm mean really?

Wow... I remember this from earlier threads... reality is a frightening thing to face.... Yes, I also remember Biddles Bank... he was a cantankerous individual and rather than promote intelligent discourse, was more of a rabblerouser and contributed more discontent than quality. Cheers, RickO

The Chinese do not believe in intellectual property or copyrights. In their culture it is OK to make fakes and would not understand your outrage.

I get that, but it is time to put these obvious scammers in jail - one way or another.

Fake coins are bad enough. Fake coins in fake holders will destroy the hobby. Some one please drop some asteroids on the counterfeit factories.

I'm not sure where people get this idea that Chinese culture believes it is OK to make counterfeits and thus would be unable to understand why others would be upset at their counterfeiting. It is absolutely untrue and no excuses should be made either by Chinese people or non-Chinese people.

The only things the Chinese might think are okay are copying a book, a piece of software, or things like purses as stated above. However, every semi-educated Chinese person knows the counterfeiting (creating a copy of something and passing it off as the genuine article) of what are essentially antiques is wrong and dishonest.

? As for "rocket boy" those definitely are not bottle rockets he is playing with. That country absolutely did not pull that technology out of their hat overnight. It was either given or stolen knowledge. As for China, they may know right from wrong but that doesn't stop them from stealing company trade secrets including military designs. Something as trivial as antiquities being counterfeited is going to be very low priority for the Chinese government. They are busy playing a much more sophisticated game.
