Does anyone else find this a little suspicious?

I have been going through completed auctions for raw 1960 Topps Baseball. In MANY cases, cards' sale prices will hover around 4-6$ and then an auction by Greg Morris Cards will be $35+ (or thereabouts). clicking through, I find that nearly all the bidders have 80-100% activity with Greg Morris Cards.

So, what gives? this seller has SUCH a good rep that buyers will pay 500% more for his cards or there is something fishy going on?

having bid on his auctions and bought from him for years I'd say Yep to the above.

  • Yup, he has a great rep. That's where I fill my raw sets, heck I probably have at least 60% bid rate with him.

Greg Morris earned his rep. Fantastic seller. Tough to find great deals on his auction these days with so many bidding on his cards but if you are looking for quality cards...go no further.

  • I'd say my bid percentage with greg morris is almost 100%. It's a mixed bag - lots of stuff goes higher than I'd like but I also get great deals on tons of cards (usually commons) and they're graded tougher than other sources - I know I'm getting quality.

I think of all the cards I've bought from grem morris auctions there was one that I thought was trimmed and they missed it when grading...but it was a $0.79 common.
