I think it will grade higher then 62 and the slab is scratched ( Obverse ) so this one will be taken out of the slab and sent in for a new grade . I think the RB ( Color ) is correct and for $14.95 cents, I think this was a good deal .
Just checked for staging this coin and the easiest way is with the Die Gouge under the right base . According to Coneca the Die Gouge starts in stage A .

According to Coppercoins, the Die Gouge over there is in MDS

This coin has no Die Gouge, under the right base, so I'd say, very early Die State, which is what I'm always looking for .

Good price.... good luck with the resubmission.... Cheers, RickO
It is a rare variety, much more rare than the big one for the date.
However, I would not resubmit looking for higher grades at Anacs as they have no idea how to grade lincoln cents and it will be cost prohibitve to this relatively unknown variety.
It's your decision, of course.
Nice pickup

Great snag! Wasn't aware of this variety. Thanks for sharing your purchase.
I would let it be. It will cost you $45+ shipping and it's not worth it. It would need to be a MS67RD to be worth $90. There was to many of them found.. But it's your money do what you like with it. But a cool coin for $14.95 graded.

Type 2, I believe you are referring to 1995 ddo-1. This is ddo-2, and there have not been many found at all.
Kind of like 1972 ddo-4, this has a lesser spread but should be worth more than die 1 to a specialist.

Okay but I don't think so. That's a lot of $$ to spend for that one as well. But what do I know.

We have are Fun Show at the end of the month and there will be 3 grading companies there, with some great prices for slabbing ...
Trust me I would be the 1st to say make that money. But to toss $$ where you will not get them back I will tell you and if you don't care I don't care it's your money. This is what I do I would not play the crack out game with this one a waste of good $$$ This will not be fun.. I can see if your dad gave it to you or some one special now that I can see. But to make a profit on it no it's not going to work. That's just me dumb Type2 thinking.

Stash, while you are right that this die is far less commonly seen than the die 1, the unfortunate fact is that demand is much less for this one.
I don't know whether the coin would grade out any differently at another service, especially at PCGS, because they're all about the luster, and this piece doesn't have it.
You did get a good buy for $15 though.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do with it.
