I still find in interesting that Carr's 1916-D Mercury Dimes (as struck on the 1 oz silver rounds) were crafted with better detail and precision (and look a hell of a lot better) than the 2016 Gold Mercury dime produced by the Mighty US Mint and all its resources.

Thanks, The engraving detail on the fantasy-date over-strikes is better than the centennial silver rounds, in my opinion.

Unfortunately there isn't a lot of talent residing in the marketing dept of the US Mint.

you need to take things to a higher level, do something of the cuff so to speak
go beyond coins, look into other areas and then figure out how your talent can become even better
