Just added the Barber Half to my Variety Type Set.

There aren't too many varieties in the Barber Half series and I couldn't afford the 1892 micro o.....so I happened by this 1907-S/S RPM at Brian Greer's table at the recent Central States show. It's a better date and nice original. What are your thoughts. You can view the whole set using the link in my sig line.

Thanks for looking.

The 1907-S is an underrated date in this set and this coin looks like a true F15. I like it.

Very nice looking coin! The quote from Dimeman above is something I have wondered about:

Was the mint lucky or doing a better job than average during this time period, or have the varieties not been spotted yet?

There are lots of varieties during this time period in the dimes and other series....just not too many Barber Halves. I really don't have an answer as to why.
