  Was it to a PO Box?
  
  I've noticed a bunch of times, that a package sent to a PO Box will go out for delivery from the post office, only to be redelivered to that post office's P.O. Box.
  
  So it was at the post office at 7:14am, but wasn't delivered to the PO Box until 9:16.

  Not a P.O. Box.
  
  I did notice that the estimated delivery date is stated for tomorrow (06 Aug)...perhaps they did not want to be too efficient and deliver it a day early?

  Strange.... I had a USPS package slated for delivery yesterday.... has not shown up....will get concerned tomorrow.

  The only way that these "time machine" entries seem to make sense is if the person scanning the package has a menu to choose from and chooses the wrong option. That is if they are scanning arriving packages and instead of scanning it with the arrive option they use the "out for delivery" option it will show a time difference later. Print the tracking info and take it down to your PO and see what they tell you.

  When it comes to ebay and the usps… they are in cahoots to get my money and hurt my reputation with customers. This is why I leave my feelings out of it and why venting is just a way to whine about my personal disappointment with those entities in between me and my customers. But this is just me. Nobody else is going through this, I am sure.

  No worries. This happens sometimes. As long as tracking is being updated you'll be fine.
  
  It's when everything suddenly goes silent that you've got a potential problem....... well, that and when it comes back delivered and signed for to a guy you've never heard of.
