I posted this over at net 54 too... I'm just trying to get more info on this card to pass along to psa to get it correctly labeled please post or PM me anything I could send to PSA. It's one of my favorite Ali cards that I just picked up raw one and would really like to get it slabbed with the correct data. If anyone has any information that I could pass along to psa .. I would greatly appreciate it. Here is a scan of the card I'm talking about. This isn't mine I just the used this scan from google. Thanks
Scans of most of my Misc rookies can be found <a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://forums.collectors.com/m...y&keyword1=Non%20major">here

Hi Eagles,
I am 99% sure that is from the Dutch Gum Cards - Unnumbered Set 3, printed in Sweden. You can email Troy Kirk, who runs The Movie Card Website, tkirk@moviecard.com
He seems to be the leading expert on movie cards & Dutch Gum, and his site is a resource used by PSA in identification of these cards and sets.

I've seen it referred to as Holland Dina Idoler and from perhaps 1964. There was a thread on the net 54 board a while back where someone posted quite a bit of info on this card as to where it was produced ect.. I just couldn't find it.
that would be the first thing needing correcting if the company is not actually called the "Swedish Candy Co."
kinda like saying '1952 American Gum Mickey Mantle'

Not certain, but I believe it is sort of like you describe. Probably from the candy company called Dutch Gum but that the card and gum were issued in Sweden and it is not Dutch even though the candy company is. The Dutch ones say "Printed in Holland" on front and the Finnish ones have "Hellas" or "MM Hellas" on back, as described here on this page.
Could be other theories out there on the real issuance of this card too, but I like the possibility of it being a Dutch Gum card. They also printed a few different cards in 1964 with the Beatles & Cassius Clay together on front.
I know that it was in a series with most music artists (POP), 84 cards in the series.
The was sold around 1965 in a packet of cards, I think 8 or ten cards in a packet.
There is now album what I know.

I got turned down from PSA and SGC at first. I then went to Beckett and of course they slabbed it after showing then so print outs. They slab anything for money. Finally, SGC got on board, and then PSA.
Here are a few from my collection. I think I have 3 more.

Interesting, thanks for posting.
<< <i>Here is one of the Beatles/Ali cards from that set (I think?). I have had it for some time and didn't know anything about it. I b believe the Liston fight was Feb. 1964.
