<< <i>I'm going to have to wait for the " I can't believe this didn't make it into a graded holder" thread! >>
I have seen examples of both "I can't believe this made it into a major brand of holder," and "I can't believe this didn't make into a major brand holer." Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of either type of item because it was not something that wanted to own, or I was .. Unhappy .. With the result that just wanted to forget it.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
DennisH- Man, I really like that 1921 Peace dollar! Sure, it's got some rimnix, but I really dig that CircCam look.
PS- speaking of Peace dollars, I had one in a PCGS MS65 holder that had a big gash (somewhere between a heavy staple scratch and a light knife cut) right across Liberty's head.
No pix of it, but it was a poster child for the PCGS guarantee.
Lord: The gasket ring covers up darn near all of the rim sins, which I guess is why they decided to holder it. I'm a very motivated seller, by the way.

(Edit to add: but I'm not.)
Still like it, though. Rim hits or not, that's got pizzazz for a circ.
