This date is much harder to find than the later dates of 1887, 1888, and 1889, and would be a great start to a gold dollar short set, or a better date type coin. Nice cartwheel frosty luster and beautiful original color.
By the way, those hairlines on the obverse are actually mint made die polish lines and occur in the same location on all 1885's.
