If you are attending the Grapevine Coin Show in Grapevine, TX on Saturday, Sep 23, stop by the educational programs and say hello!
The Northeast Tarrant Coin Club is sponsoring the educational programming for the show and invited me to give a talk on collectable slabs. So if have the noon hour free and want to take a break from the show, come see my "Buy the Slab and not the Coin" presentation. It's a fun look some of the oddball slabs that we all have come across every now and then.
There are also presentations on "The Engraving World of George T. Morgan" (by Carl Stang) and "Collecting Medieval Coinage" (by Mike Ross).
It's a small show, but done very well.
The show is at the Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 S. Main Street, Grapevine TX 76051. The Center is four miles northwest of the DFW Airport off Highway 114.
