I have started to do pics of my coins in the Registry that currently do not have pics. I'm starting with this one because it is so neat and a very low pop. I figure it is easier to look here that scroll thru my Dime set. If these threads offends members I will stop. Thanks for looking and comments welcome.

I check every 1945-S dime I come across for this RPM. This is such a cool variety. It's very nice.

That's a tougher Merc Variety when you get to this grade or higher. I have never been able to Cherrypick an example.

That's a tough variety. I'll bet I've looked at thousands of 1945-S dimes over the years and have yet to find one. I did find one of the D/horizontal D's a while back...

What grade is your 45-D/Horiz D?
If I remember correctly, it made AU50 at ANACS. I sold it years ago...
