And really, really sad at the same time?
This, followed by the words "Nah, I appreciate your offer. But I think I'm going to send it in first".

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
You guys are so nice

Try putting it under a black light and post the results.
I didn't know they existed outside of plastic.
I think that Robert Scot's early gold designs were very attractive, especially in AU and higher.
This one was not in plastic when I bought it many years ago. Later I had it put in plastic.
This one was 62 but I didn't keep it because it looked ...TOO... perfect.
Kinda like a replica. It wasn't but it just didn't have "character,"
This is my present one. Only XF but more ...what? "Oldy" looking?
No wonder I'm getting coin nutty.
(oh, I think I'm ...faltering... I just paid TOO MUCH for some ....color.... on a coin ...but on a darksider)
Topstuf, I much prefer your present coin. Great choice.
Looks as if there was some 'gunk' deposited around the 'erty',and removed... there is still some residue there.....did you try the black light? Check the reverse as well...Oh...not your coin -sorry. We should watch for it to show up in a slab -or else the owner may be back and say "Oh, I reconsidered your offer.".... If that happens, run. Cheers, RickO
Nice for a pocket piece!

Maybe it's just the photo but the coin in the op just doesn't have that pizzazz. Jmho.
