I recently refound an old acquisition that is unpublished and likely quite rare as no reports of it in 33 years: this is a (U) or PL 1984 10 Dollars Specimen Unc with the two marlins breaching.
21 September, 2021 update: None, no others seen since original posting.

Very cool! Although most of my energies are spent on much older coins, I will pick up an occasional coin of the Caribbean countries struck by the Franklin Mint. The designs and minting history are interesting to me.
I was not aware of the rarity of this piece. Do you know why so few were struck?

Actually, that would be the proof and so NOT the specimen type (and probably underpriced even in that type).
Not to bore: the FM struck two types of coins up through 1974:
(M) matte - a putative uncirculated with matte finish, rather silky in appearance
(P) proof - frosted devices and struck up to proof standard
Added in 1975 was a third type:
(U) uncirculated - reflective proof-like surfaces over the whole coin. Not struck as well as the proofs and with only a few exceptions, struck in non-precious metals

The matte type were generally discontinued after 1977.

Did you grade this awesome rarity?

Yes, it came back MS 66 (U) and this ATS. Personally although it doesn't matter much I thought it pretty near perfect and more of a 68+ quality coin....
