...or at least it is interesting!
Picked up this six book set on eBay for under $100. They are the hardcover volumes of the Civil War token journals from the last 40 or so years. One of my better purchases, and a great addition to the library. Months of research here!
For those of you interested in civil war tokens, I strongly recommend becoming a member.

Nice pick up! Love the CWT's struck on other coins.
Man, what is not to love about that one?! Very pronounced host coin peeking through on that NY token.
Thanks for posting that.

Nice.

Good buy on the set as I have one still in this boxes of issue when they sold for a LOT more.
Came in the mail the other day, and as I was opening the box I was reminded of when my parents ordered the Encyclopedia Brittanica when we were kids. Big hulking mass of books. The internet has made such things completely obsolete, but there is still something special about the smell of paper...

There's so much great stuff in those books that will never be in on the web.
As I recall they cover more then just CWT's.
Would these ever be covered by Google Books? I've found good numismatic information from Google Books because it makes things searchable.
probably not free, but think you can get them in PDF format. I believe anyway.
