I myself am a CAC authorized dealer, but do not have private insurance, so any coins I get that are like 30-100k , I usually send thru somebody else who carries insurance in case of a loss.

You might consider going thru a third party dealer.

RM now covers up to $50K IIRC.

I HIGHLY recommend Hugh Woods insurance through the ANA. I work in the finance/insurance industry and I'm shocked to see how cheap the premium was and how comprehensive the coverage is. They have policies for dealers and for shipping coins through the USPS, UPS and FedEx. They are very flexible, their products are customizable and I got a quote within 1 business day.
Registered USPS is the way to ship ED62. Anything else will keep you up at night. The first time I shipped to a TPG, I sent a package USPS express. Took 3 days to get there after getting lost in the system and kept me up for a few days and I have never sent valuable coins any other way than registered since then...
What TomB stated. Registered. If an individual coin exceeds $25K replacement value, best consult the USPS Domestic Mailing Manual for the added surcharge schedule for full indemnity.
When the indemnity limit was $25K and you shipped a $35K coin, the extra fee bought you extra security from the USPS, not additional indemnity.
I would also suggest that, with your packaging, you do it very well. I just sent out a package to CAC today. I used USPS medium flat rate (had almost 40 coins that were sent) and used box in a box and a lot of bubble wrap. When I closed up the boxes, and taped them securely with the paper tape, I shook the box. NOTHING moved around inside. No sound, no movement. That's what I recommend.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
