Got two negs today on the 'Bay

Stupidly used a saved Morgan Template to list two Ike Lots.... my fault for sure.
Clearly listed as Ikes from the 1970's with images. At least one was a variety.
San5chez buys the 8 coins (two 4 coin lots) for $6 each...$12 total
I check in today and see my feedbacked got nuked twice...
I mean seriously... no communication and two negs over a net of $4?
His complaint was that they were not 90% silver as listed in the Ebay historical description.
Arghhh...
I was apologetic but day-yum.... nearly 600 positives nuked over $4

He must have changed his ID cause I told him I would bash him on the forums...
But can't you go back to the auction and see what he changed his id to?

I guess sending him a feedback modification request is off the table then.
It is usually the sub $10 buyers who leave negs.
Yeah, you made a mistake (who hasn't ?) but if bidder/buyer had any doubts as to what he was bidding on, he should have contacted you first--or, done the common sense thing, and just not bid on the lot if there was a possible listing error.
You threaten to bash him on the forums and expect him to change his feedback?
I think the buyer would have had a serious complaint if multiple bidders thought the same thing and his purchase price was above the melt price of the coins being silver. But based on his winning bid price, he bid knowing what he was purchasing.

well, you did make a mistake in the listing. Any communication from him before the negs? He should have least given you an opportunity to make it right.
OP stated in opening post there was no communication ...just negs.
one checkmark scrues you

Of all the things to say, this should not be one of them. Now eBay has that against you.
I should have just bought a happy meal.

That was a big mistake. I have gotten a few dumb negatives over stuff like that, and always apologize, give full refunds, thank them for their business, ask them to consider buying from me again so I can make things right, etc. After they calm down they have always agreed to change the feedback. Never have I insulted them back though. I doubt anything can be done now.

If you pull off their wings they'll eat what ever you feed them
Where can I get some of them 90% Ikes anyways?!
Have not received my $ from e-bay yet but process was great buyer was wonderful (#322022420817)
Nothing I can do.
Cheers

A neg over such a small dollar buy is lame. Sorry. I've never left a neg even when sellers really deserved them. Karma and all that.
+1
The guy is a serious tool.
It would take A LOT for me to neg someone.
Worst thing I ever did to a seller was leave no feedback at all.
I'd call eBay immediately and maybe they can help you, as that is really unfair imho.

!?
Since I cannot recall ever having this issue, I never knew the feedback could be amended.
Selling 4 Ikes for $6.26 with free shipping means you lost money counting the packaging right? Then add the 2 negatives.
Since your auction did not say silver and only the eBay template did, you might still be able to have those removed if you call and get the right person.

How true!

This seller left me this POSITIVE, but used the FB to ping Ebay on something that she screwed up.

I don't think she screwed up at all. Ebay/PAYPAL hold funds on new sellers until feedback is left by buyer, to protect themselves from fraud.
basically always remember make sure the details are covered from A to Z then some
give detailed info on the coin and never say you will get even bad move

That feedback violates two of eBay's feedback rules.
First, you can't leave a false positive. A positive with a 'negative' statement is a violation.
Second, You can't mention within a feedback a refund/pending refund from eBay.
Either or both of those violations will get eBay to delete the comment.

That was after the seller (OP) made an error in his listing as well...
I mean... just email me and say...
"I'm lazy. Thank you for attributing this nice VAM. Would you send me an extra $100 and I wont cheat you out of the coin or sell it to the other guy ?"

Yep... seller playing dumb.
Ironic week.
I guess it's the cherrypicking gods telling me that I have had my fill as of late.
If you sell on ebay and are prone to steal and replace a coin you are too lazy to attribute... It might be next week or two years, but karma is coming
Now... as for the seller who stole my 1886 VAM 20 cherrypick. I'm not going to reveal your identity, but rest assured... Your day is coming.
I love the guys that buy $8 items and return them and you pay all the shipping.
