My PCGS Showcase set

How can I post a link to my PCGS showcase set as part of my forum signature as so many others do?

Copy the URL (address from your browser) of your set.

Then just edit your signature to have this (without the spaces)

    [ L = text ] URL [/L]

That seems easy enough, but I am not very tech savvy. I can't copy and paste he whole address. Some is "grayed" out and will not paste.

Plus, do I type your line in as you did?

That might not work since he's logged in as himself while viewing the set. A better way would be to use the "external link/URL" as if you were finding the set from the main page. The URL should look like this with xxxx being the actual number of your set as it appears in your address bar of your browser when you are viewing it.

Just replace the xxxx with your set ID as he suggested and then you would type the following:

    [L=My Set Name]http://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/showcase.aspx?sc=xxxx[/L]

Is this what you want in your sig line?

    Yorkshireman's 20

Sooo, I was taught to use the testing forum to get the code you need. Copy the actual URL on the page you are trying to link.

Go to the testing forum, and open new topic.

Left click on the http link.

Right click and paste your URL into the box above.

A second box will appear. Type in what you would like the link to read. (as in Yorkshireman's 20)

Left click Ok and this should put a line of code in the content box below.

As stated above, it will start and end with [ ].

That string of code needs to be copy and pasted in your profile signature line box.

There is a limit on how much code you can post in your profile signature line box. I have found that more than two, possibly three will fit.

    Hope this helps.
