Are there many collectors of French Royales?

Collecting the French Royales started as an extension of my new interest into American colonials and has now morphed into a collection of over 150 pcs. from Louis XIII to the first couple of years of the French republic. Only a few of the coins were struck for New France but surely many of the others were used in the colonies before the British conquest.<br

Are there others who have a passion for the Royales?

I am not too sure what you mean by French Royales. A particular type of coin or the coinage in general of the French monarchy? How about some images to tempt us?

The 4 monarchs of Bourbon Dynasty which ran from Louis XIII to Louis XVI ruled from the start of New France till the British conquered Canada during Louis XVI reign.<

All four ruled for long periods (Louis XIII + Louis XV were the longest ruling kings of France) so coinage have a number of portraits as child kings thru old age which make for an interesting variety.
