Didnt read the question carefully first before clicking the link. Clicked the link and thought "hmm, dont know if I would have caced that..." then thought "... dont know if I would have given that a 63, reverse looks like a 58 to me..."
That coin is why I don't just buy it because it has a bean on it. I don't really care for it at all but it does seem to be a 63. Ask Rick Snow at Eagle Eye coins.
I understand your concern. I am partial to a nice Flyer and I admit, the coin is not what I would jump on for my Type set. I see several areas of concern, but also realize you have several opinions above from good numismatists who agree with the grade . . . as well as CAC. Still, it could be the pic, it could be the coin, it could be a lot of things . . . .
I am guessing it looks better in person. Also not all 63's are equal- you can get a cleaned/dipped one that has a lot of flash or you can get an original skin one that is not as flashy as a dipped one.
I am not going to sit here and bash the many things I find wrong with that coin. Just say, that it would not be for me. I think you could do a lot better for a thousand dollars.
A break in the eagle's breast patina, and pretty dullish luster. Spots don't help. Not a coin I'd expect stickered. I could see this also going AU58 to MS62 on any other day. I'm pretty easy on what I would consider a MS63 FE/Indian cent. This one just doesn't do it for me. And based on the ones I've submitted over the years, I'd have never received a 63 on this one.
This coin is better in every respect imo...yet not stickered. Luster seems full enough for a 63. This one I like a lot better. The seller prices it around 5% higher. Though if in a different holder, I'd bet it would be priced 10-15% higher.

Wow! Big difference in the second one! Nice photos help too.
I don't agree with a grade of MS63, but I am am looking at a photo and that photo was taken through the slab which may have some rub on it. I have bought a few coins from this eBay seller and have been happy with the coins. But make sure of the return policy.

OINK
For clarification, it is not my intent to criticize the seller. I just found the grade interesting.
As Rick said over emphasis on originality. I also looked at it on the big screen and can see luster in the devices so I believe the image could be a big part of the problem.

Golden, I couldn't agree more.

Hmmmmm......
Drunner
I'd call it AU 58.
I could say that about lots of coins in mint state holders though.
They say 'don't buy the holder but the coin', but with this generation I only pay attention to the first four words.
"“Those who sacrifice liberty for security/safety deserve neither.“(Benjamin Franklin)
"I only golf on days that end in 'Y'" (DE59)
A second MS63 the seller owns
