Gold is not my thing but I'll say MS62 due to contact marks, particularly on the reverse. Sweet coin!

Since you think it's an upgrade candidate, I'll guess the current holder says 58 or 61.
I could see the coin as a 62.

That's a nice one. I'd say MS63 in the ANACS holder and 62 @ PCGS

Compare it to this $10 which I bought raw. Came back graded MS62.

Looks AU but I have a hard time with any gold.

Looks like a slider, as most have said.

90% of upgrades are usually within a point, a difference that even with the best photos can be impossible to differentiate, more so on gold where grading is so reliant on surfaces. You have the coin in hand, so you have the best chance of determining whether it is worth trying.

My grade on this one is MS-63, and NGC agreed when I submitted it over ten years ago.

This one is the No Motto type, and has a slightly different design, but the grade here is PCGS MS-64, CAC.

Harsh grades so far. Looks like a solid UNC to me and has a good shot at 63.

Might sound weird but is that PVC/Verdigris on reverse inside of RS. Look like big hunks.

Maybe it net-graded at Anacs? If so just crack and rinse in acetone and resubmit to PCGs.

Here is the coin as it was. I appreciate all the opinions and sorry for the delay on grade exposing....anyways another dealer offered just back of MS63 wholesale money so I happily sold it

    Thanks for all the opinions

*By the way, the price tag was from the original owner. I didn't purchase anywhere near that money*
