No not really. I got into this segment too late in the game. I will be happy with just the two sets for a while.

  • Wait. Wait. Wait wait wait.

How is it complete without the 00000000 note? Haha.

I've seen specimens with that serial, but I'm not sure if it was ever on a $1 FRN.

Haha guys. Specimen notes don't count. Only notes meant for circulation.

This is great but now you should complete it in descending order.

It was just a joke. Complete the set in descending order. (You'd just display them starting with the 09 lol)

If you want a really serious challenge, find all nine notes with Matching districts. You already have the 06000060 on the 6th District; just eight more to go!
  • MaxcrushaMaxcrusha Posts: 8,388
Larry - the A00000000A isnt a specimen note

came from a pack... ie, thus the 999996001 note, and the brick label

apparently 00000000 notes are (or used to be) always made at the end of the 99999999 run... but they're destroyed by the BEP

how this one escaped is unknown

I am working on a $2 set but only have 4,7,8 so it will be many more years until completion

That would be cool but virtually impossible. I am however trying to find all nine on my other set (00111100-00999900) all on the Richmond district and Dave Undis is selling me one of the three that I am missing. Still going to be very tough to find the other two.

    Nice job.

The only series that can be completed with true perfect radars is series 1995. Only in that series, can the JJ and KK blocks be found.

Thanks. I just need a KK radar to complete my True Radar District set. That's the toughest one.
  • delistampsdelistamps Posts: 4,312 ✭✭✭

I am also searching for a couple of repeaters: 00050005 on the 5th, 00070007 on the 7th, and 00090009 on the 9th.

  • delistampsdelistamps Posts: 4,312 ✭✭✭

Still searching for these three repeaters; I could also use a 00120012 on the 12th. I have a $2 but not a $1. PM me!
