We had a hatchling greenhouse frog on our patio here in FL today.
These spend the tadpole stage in the egg, then hatch as mature frogs, like the one shown. Fully grown adults are about an inch long.

One day last week when I was leaving to go to work a Rainfrog was hiding in the door handle of my truck. After I squeezed it trying to open the door it peed all over me and the truck and about scared me more than I scared it before I realized what was going on. THAT'LL WAKE YOU UP IN THE MORNING!

Yesterday I put on my outside shoes (old tennis shoes I keep outside to do yardwork in) and a big Bullfrog was inside down in the toe part. Didn't realize it until I jammed my foot in there and it started wiggling around. That's a weird feeling when you're not expecting it.........

Wes - I've learned to shake out my outdoor shoes before putting them on down here.....between the lizards and 'palmetto bugs' that
like dark places to hide, I've had my share of surprises!

One or two trips to the African desert will teach you to shake out your inside & outside shoes before putting them on........ every single time! Years later I still can't shake it.
