Going through my hoards of world coins now that I've got a great camera (in my phone,) and found these from a few years ago.

A couple look Unc, or darned close. Any information is appreciated! Thanx!!

Like this series quite a lot. There is something in the simplicity of the design and the style of calligraphy on the reverse that speaks to me.

The two M17s look to be uncirculated and (according to the latest and greatest JNDA catalog) would run 4000-5000 yen. I'm not sure what the current exchange rate is though. The other two look to be more in the AU range, so would drop in value to more like a 1000-2500 range. If that's not a touch of wear, but lighting, then the year 15 would be a bit more of a premium than the 16, 17.
