Newp 1836/1336 CBH Newp What do you think? Grade in. new pics added.

Newp 1836/1336 Bustie. What do you think our hosts would say about it? Has a very nice strong strike and semi reflective surfaces. Looks very nice in hand. Just got grade posted by our hosts. Came in at au55. I can live with that. image

Thanks,
Richard

I agree with FTB that the coin has AU-Details.

It looks like it was soaked in dip for a little too long.

What holder is that and can you get any better pics because the first pic hints at luster but the rest make it look real bad.

AU details, cleaned. I wouldn't buy it.

Thanks for the opinions. It is in an ICG holder. Do these pics help any? Did this with Dinosocope which I find hard to get perfect focus.

In hand it doesn't look whizzed. I do lean to it being dipped but not badly. My pics make it look worse.

    Thanks,
    Richard

As always, grading from photos is inexact at best. But, I don't see signs of harsh cleaning/whizzing, however it looks dipped to the point of being excessively bright. Looks like about AU55 luster, but I speculate if it graded at pcgs it might net to about AU50. imo.

Better pix without the plastic covering it.

    anyway
oh yeah...sweet busty and righteous grade there...looks to me like it could of squeaked in a 58 holder
    that's one sweet 55 there

did ya get it at a bargin...way back when

i'd ask what service level and how many days...but i think i'll pass on this one

Congrats. This can be a touch crowd around here, although your pix didn't give anyone much to go on. Maybe post a picture in its new slab when it arrives.

Here are the pics in the new slab. The original slab was ICG and also AU55. It is a very nice looking coin in hand with great luster and semi PL surfaces.

    Thanks,
    Richard

Those new pix are a great improvement over the first set of yellowish pix you posted. That coin looks right at home in its new holder. Congrats once again.

It's a decent coin, but I don't think many here would fight over it.
