WTB: $10 Indian in MS62 for Coin Club Raffle - Need it as cheap as possible of course :)

As some of you may know, I'm the current President of the Glendale Coin Club. Each year for our annual coin show in October, we have a gold and silver coin raffle which helps bring traffic into our show and also helps raise some additional funds for the club. For the past few years, I have invited forum members to buy tickets for that raffle and several members here have won prizes.

Anyways, we're looking to step up our raffle this year and have decided to try to find a certified mint state $10 Indian Gold Eagle for our top prize to be given away at our October 26, 2014 show. I would like to find a decent looking PCGS MS62 if possible (NGC is ok too if the coin looks fine)... nothing with major hits or ugly spotting as the coin will be the big prize used to generate our ticket sales.

I looked in the most recent greysheet I have (May 16, 2014) and they list $10 Indians in MS62 with a bid of $815 and ask of $860. None of the local shops have any in stock right now and I was planning on hunting one down at the upcoming Long Beach show. Figured I'd see if any forum members could help out first though image

Since this is for the club and we have limited funds, we're looking for the best deal we can find of course. I've seen some sell lately on eBay in the $800-$875 range, which is around the Greysheet, but they go fast at those prices and I haven't been able to get one. Hard to imagine people selling them at that range on eBay and then paying the selling fees.

Also, if you're willing to give us a really great deal on the coin, we would consider announcing you/your company as one of our sponsors at the show when we do our drawing for the prizes. We could also put a business card or small ad in our Monthly club newsletter and/or a link/mention on our club website. We would also consider printing your name on all of the drawing tickets that we're going to print and sell... for example, we'd put our top prize on the ticket then print "provided at discount courtesy of ________."

Please let me know if you are able to help the club image We can make payment via check, and if you're interested in taking some of our raffle tickets as partial payment that would help out our club even more!! And you'd have a chance to win your coin back and/or some of the other prizes listed below.

FYI, here is our preliminary list of prizes for our October raffle... with a certified $10 Indian to be added as the top prize!!
