Help-Giovanni Hamerani Order of St Michael Badge

I have a Order of St Michael Badge made by Giovanni Hamerani circa 1670. I cannot find any information on this medal. Has anyone seen another example of this medal or reference to it. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Does it resemble either of these three at MOMA?

My google search left me a little confused, because it revealed this Royal British gov. website which claims the order was founded in 1818. And yet, as the MOMA site clearly shows, the badges were being produced in the 17th century. So there must be more than one "order" going around.
