    Are you refering to the wide 'shift' to the side of the lettering and date as the double die? (For instance, on your photo of the letter T, there appears to be a wide shift to the right). If so, that may be some very wide machine doubling, and would not be a doubled die.

    However, some letters do appear to have a very close 'notching'; for instance the top of the R, and the word WE. If that is what you are refering to, then it looks like it could be a very close doubled die. One thing I find interesting-- what is going on with the L in LIBERTY near the top of the letter? Looks like something in the field to the right of the letter L?

    And the die crack break is definitely a neat find...

    thanks for stopping by tincup, I think it will be a DDO, lets see who shows up, and if more photo are needed, can-do that too

    I just don't think so.

    Looks more like Die Erosion Doubling.
    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
