A one year type medallic taler issued in 1719 after the death of Franz Arnold von Wolff-Metternich zur Gracht, who held the bishop seat from 1706 - 1718. The issue is referred to as a 1 ½ regiments taler in the Krause guide. Classified as Zepernick 221.

That's extremely nice of you, but I deem the multiple-denomination talers as whimsy pieces that I prefer not to slab because I like to hold them in-hand and thus want them in circ. I have 2T Austrian pieces (and oversized 1T's) that are slabbed high-grade, but they are not the norm for me.

Seriously, tho', I really like it. That's an impressive strike and the toning/color looks good.
Funny how much the design seems a throwback to the 17th century, but I guess that shouldn't be surprising, since 1719 was only twenty years into the 18th.
What's the diameter of that sucker?
