I hope they have good execution
Wouldn't it be cool to see the medal overstruck on a 2013 SAE?
The name is LEE!
Just another soon to be forgotten issue.

<< <i>It's a good thing they've already addressed the SAE Proofs since this new medal will be struck on a SAE Planchet.

<< <i>Can they be sold into 2014? THAT's the question. >>
They can sell 2013 coins in 2014...they just can't mint them(coins) in 2014. I don't think they will be ANY issue will finding a bunch of Teddy dollars to put in the sets...and the medals are not coins so those can be minted forever

<< <i>Being offered so late in the year, there will be a mintage limit. Maybe 10K. Just a guess. >>
I'm sure they have a gazillion $1 coins available and since the medal is not a coin nor is it dated I would think it could be minted for as long as collectors were buying them.
