IMO, this site as a whole, expecially the chat feature need to be updated. The chat kept freezing, and was useless, really.

I wouldn't bet the ranch on "no surveillance by the NSA." Everything you do electronically if connected to the web is recorded and archived. They may not look at it but they can if they want too.
