Meeting up at the National

Hey Guys,
I thought it might be good to start up a thread listing those who will be attending the National this year in Chicago. I know it was great for me to finally meet a bunch of you guys last year and hope to catch up with even more of you this year. One problem I had last year was being able to spot fellow CU board members. I traded cell phone numbers with a bunch of guys which made it easy to find them, but I know a bunch more went that I never bumped into. With that in mind and short of walking around with name tags, I figured if we picked a spot to meet up each day we would have a better chance at finding fellow board members. Knowing that most guys like a good rip, my suggestion is to get together at the BBCE booth at 2pm each day of the National from Thursday through Saturday. I figured Wednesday is too short a day to take time out to meet and Sunday people would be too busy getting ready to leave, but we could always add those days if there is enough interest. I also thought 2pm would be good as I know I like to walk the floor in the mornings and we all like to make plans at night.
Please post away with any thoughts you have and thanks in advance for your input.
I've started a list below for everyone that has replied to this thread and indicated the dates attending as well. Look for the big daily 2pm rips at the BBCE booth.
Edited to add: You are under no obligation to actually rip anything and I, in fact, highly discourage any rippage.
*** UPDATE *** We will meet at the BBCE booth located next to PSA in the corporate area. Please check back for any further updates.

I will be there Wednesday and Thursday with a maybe on Friday. 2:00pm on Thursday sound great.....I will also be at the BBCE booth as soon as they open on Wednesday I have not been to a National in a long time and have watched the Specials Steve has offered in the past ($950 for a mini wax box 2 years ago?- not expecting something like that just hope they have been able to replenish the shelves) and have also watched some of the video's of his booth and am very much looking forward to going and meeting all the staff at BBCE.
George
I wonder if don Larsen shows up again.
BBCE is supposed to have TWO booths. A corporate one, plus one in the general
exhibition area.
Hope to see lots of the board members there.

BTW, everyone knows I don't open anything. No proof has ever surfaced to contradict that fact despite the constant rumors.

I will be there Thursday-Saturday. I have to try to keep my ripping a major card going. 3 of the last 4 Nationals I have been fortunate to crack either a Jordan Fleer rookie (2x) or Ricky Henderson Rookie.
Let's try for a Gretzky rookie, this year????

which airport would I fly into? Thought that it was O'Hare, but when I check southwest it says "midway".... one in the same?
<< <i>which airport would I fly into? Thought that it was O'Hare, but when I check southwest it says "midway".... one in the same? >>
They are not one in the same. Rosemont CC is one exit down from O"hare airport, so for ease of transport, that is the way to go. Midway is about 45 minutes away depending on traffic, and I think Southwest only flies into Midway airport. I would fly into O'Hare if you can help it.

Mr. Frequent Flyer knows his airports. I agree with Matt, if you can it is much easier to fly into O'Hare. Southwest only flys into Midway unfortunately which is why I'm flying out of JFK instead of Islip.
