very nice stuff..
did you get them at an auction?
Based on the pics, the 1894 looks the same or perhaps a bit better then the 1931.
But 'in-hand' the 1931 is so much better.
The 1931 has super strong original lustre and the fields are just about flawless (eventhough the picture really highlights the mark in the field).
Put another way, in-hand the 1894 looks perhaps a grade lower than the picture and the 1931 in-hand is one grade better than the picture.
Weird effect but that's reality.

Yes...I've never given it much thought but now that you've mentioned it, I would certainly say it's Canada's best obverse design.

Nope - it's the 1935 Geo V dollar for me.
the '31 should get 64 imho - the '94 you probably correct to guess 63 as it might have to much chatter for 64.
The 1894 just does not look as nice from the image and I see a lower grade- likely 62

<< <i>I like the 1931 more- seems to be a solid 63 and the reverse seems to keep it from 64

I'm buying all my coins from you in the future

For ME?
Why... thank you! That is very generous of you. You didn't need to do that, but I accept! Shall I PM my snailmail address to you now?
Based on the more noticeable of the tiny tics on the obverse of the Victoria and the reverse of the George V, I would have guessed MS63 on both, but if ICCS said 64, they know a lot more what they're talkin' about than I do when it comes to Greyside! Congrats!
Both have lovely luster, and the trace color on George is also a big plus.
