Scott did a stellar job last night, giving an informative and very entertaining talk about coins and bullion. He spoke almost 2 hrs and the time flew by. There were ALOT of questions, really good questions, from the attendees who are all long time and serious collectors. There was so much buzz and energy that by 9pm, I felt like the bad guy by having to close the meeting on time in keeping with the agreement with our venue.
My personal read on the attendees/new members is that they are quite knowledgable in their areas of expertise, e.g. Copper, seated and bust material, type, and Canadian, toned Morgans. Additionally, they are a friendly bunch!
Our next meeting is February 6th, (the first Wednesday of the month). Please make every effort to attend because you are missing out if you don't, no kidding!
