That's a lot of meat for an XF40. Even some luster thrown in for good measure.
How often do you see an XF40 that has every eagle feather showing? Or even better, no obvious flat/plateaued spots on any high point? This coin would have made XF40 during the 1970's, 1980's, 1990's, and 2000's. If this coin were the minimum standard for XF40, the price of them would be about 50% higher. The coin has a few tiny flaws but I'm puzzled as to why it's not graded XF45. I see seated halves and and quarters in this condition graded XF45 and even AU50 quite frequently. The seated dollars are even tougher to find this choice. 1859-0's in AU and MS60-63 are much more available than XF's like this.
