Is there a way to remain permanently 'signed in' to the Heritage website??
As I recall a number of years ago there was a check box on the Heritage site that enabled one's computer to remain in a permanent 'signed in' status.
Is that feature still available to anyone's knowledge? It sure was handy.

don't close your browser or turn off your computer, don't think sleep mode affects log-in status
i don't recall ever being logged out after many hours-long sessions

I do all those things and I always need to provide my password for every new session. Another trick?
Lance.
i can't think of a need for any one person to remain logged in for more than 20 hours and if a browser/pc isn't turned off/restarted, there should not be any log-outs
even if one is logged out, one only need go through the intensively arduous task of clicking "log in" if one has a program that stores/remembers passwords/ids
heritage has a little pop-out for id/password submission fields that will automatically show up when one clicks the "log in" feature from the various programs that remember/enter ids/passwords
hope it helps

Sorry Ed - can't help.
on the opposite side of the spectrum.
if you clear private data from a computer it should log you out of everything since cookies are deleted
since clearing junk from a computer is in ones best interest, especially public computers, worries of staying logged in should be removed
