any new Vam price guides for sale?

There is a vamview 13th edition issued jan 2012

i'd trust auction results for vams right now above all else, including experience.

vam pricing imo right now is one of the most inconsistent

Lance is right; prices are down. On the other hand, it's also a great buying opportunity.

I spoke by phone recently with C.Logan McKechnie of Vamsandmore.com
He told me that the next VAM retail price guide would be available in Jan 2013.
I believe you can subscribe to his publication for free called "The View".

i have one. it is like any price guide/book. it contains great information and it is a tool and you need to learn how to use a tool properly for it to be effective.

nothing replaces this except personal experience or someone truly knowledgeable and trustworthy but i prefer experience.

if you've never owned one and you buy/sell vams. you should have at least owned one.

Not into Morgan's but peace vams (even the big ones) seam just a shell of what they used to be

The VAMView price guide is just that -- a guide. Use it as a starting point and also search auction prices realized.

I have been using the VAM world website to identify coins. I love it, but find that it takes me forever to identify VAM's on certain years that have tons of VAM #'s. My thought was that the price guide would help me narrow down searching only for the better VAM's and speed up the process.
